Alex Burston
TRP was founded by Alex Burston. Alex grew up in London where she attended both British and international schools. She went on to receive her BA from Yale University in the History of Art. After graduating from Yale in 2013, Alex returned to London and received her master’s degree in Museum Curation from the Courtauld Institute of Art.
Subsequently, Alex spent four years working for an international educational services firm focused on US test prep and college counselling. There, her work was focused on tutoring students for the SAT and ACT exams and AP subject tests, helping students develop their reading and writing skills, and working with students to prepare for and successfully navigate the US college admissions process.
Alex founded TRP Education in 2019 with the goal of helping each student to get the most out of their high school education so that they can thrive in the next part of their educational journey!
When she is not working with her students, Alex can be found walking her two dogs, Penny and Maple, reading a new thriller, cheering on Chelsea football club or exploring her favourite museums and galleries.

Amber Anderson
Hello! I enjoy helping children and young adults find their academic stride through their pressured school years. I like working with tutees to find their best learning style according to their individual needs. I am encouraging and motivating for a collaborative working style to boost tutee confidence.
I went to primary and secondary school in the UK (at which my favourite subjects were sciences, maths and languages) before I went to Yale University in the USA, where I studied neuroscience. As such I am able to help with study for American standardised tests.
I have been tutoring and mentoring since my school years for children and young adults of all abilities, and have experience working with ASD, SEND, EHCP & SLC.
When I’m not tutoring or studying myself, I love spending time outdoors keeping fit, walking dogs, listening to music and podcasts, reading and gardening.
